If you've been carrying too much for too long and can't remember the last time you truly felt at ease, this retreat is an invitation to step away from the constant demands of daily life.
Join us in the Blue Ridge Mountains for four restorative days of intentional rest, nourishing practices, and space to slow down.
You'll return home with a deeper connection to yourself, remembering what true rest feels like.

Imagine waking to the quiet beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The pace is slower here. Instead of reaching for your phone or mentally running through your to-do list, you begin the day with a deep breath and the gentle awareness that you don't have to hold everything together.
You wrap your hands around a warm cup of tea as the morning mist drifts through the trees. The sounds of birds replace the constant hum of notifications.
Your shoulders begin to soften.
Your breath slows.
Without trying to fix anything, you simply notice what it feels like to be fully present.
Perhaps you've been...

Carrying too much for everyone else...
...and quietly wondering what it would feel like to be the one receiving care.
Feeling like you can't stop...
...even when every part of you knows it's time to slow down.
Trying to rest...
...only to find your mind still racing and your body unable to fully settle.
Feeling disconnected from yourself...
...beneath the responsibilities and pace of daily life.
Longing for space to simply be...
...without guilt, expectation, or anything needing your attention.

If you found yourself nodding along, you're not alone.
This retreat was created with you in mind.
Kind Words
BhaktiBreath is a retreat offering, built upon years of guiding individuals and groups through Yoga Therapy, breathwork, sound healing, and restorative practices. Here are a few reflections from those who have experienced this work.
I recently attended the Inner Reset retreat with Veda and Kristin in NC!!! I know Veda from when she lived in AZ and have missed her guidance through yoga classes, doing yoga therapy with her and her friendship!! When I saw the retreat advertised, I instantly contacted her for more info with the intent to go!!! It was FABULOUS!! They created such an amazing experience with a small group of women. We were instantly able to connect and shared a wonderful experience in a beautiful setting in Old Fort, NC. As always, Veda infused her classes with intention and provided classes to impact various parts of the body, infused with other education. Kristin also was an amazing resource and provided excellent guidance for new techniques. It was a joy to watch them co-facilitate!! If the opportunity arises again, I would definitely participate in the next retreat!!!

The Evening Unwind + Sound Bath experience was absolutely incredible. Veda has the unique ability to hold space and guide a group in a way that makes you feel like she's speaking directly to you and knows exactly what you as an individual needs. I've never felt 90 minutes move so quickly! The only thing that would've made it better is for it to be even longer (kidding - but maybe not!).
-Jennifer B.
Veda is one of the most amazing humans I've ever met. With sound healing, she has brought calmness during a storm in my life. Her smile and personality will bring any room to a state of serenity. She is truly talented.
-Sylvia S.
Veda is an incredible guide and has dedicated her life to studying breath. I was introduced to the power of breath just over 2 years ago and my experience with her was deep and enlightening. I highly recommend her for anyone at any level of their practice.

What if...

...your body finally remembered how to settle?
...you no longer felt guilty for slowing down?
...you had simple practices to return to whenever life felt overwhelming?
...you came home feeling more like yourself again?
...rest became something you knew how to receive instead of something you had to earn?
This is the heart of BhaktiBreath.
Retreat Overview

Over four restorative days, you'll step away from the pace of everyday life and into a space where your body can soften, your breath can deepen, and your nervous system can begin to settle. If you've noticed that even when you finally have time to rest, your body never seems to fully settle, you're not alone. Every experience is thoughtfully designed to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and remember what true rest feels like.
Through gentle yoga, Yoga Nidrā, breath-centered practices, immersive sound healing, mantra chanting, and meaningful moments of reflection, you'll cultivate simple, sustainable practices that encourage deep rest during the retreat while offering simple, sustainable tools to return to whenever life begins to feel overwhelming again.
Whether you're seeking nourishment, clarity, or connection, this retreat invites you to settle your nervous system, awaken your heart, and return to yourself.
Connection, Kīrtan, and More
We’ll have the opportunity to gather outdoors around a communal bonfire—open to the public—for reflection, connection, and shared song. We’ll also open our hearts in community with a Bhakti-inspired kīrtan night, chanting sacred mantras as a form of devotion, expression, and joy—also open to the public. No singing experience is needed, just a willingness to receive and participate. These evenings offer a powerful way to invite the collective spirit into our personal practice and to honor the healing vibration of sacred sound, together.

You'll REturn Home With...
Every person's experience is unique, but this retreat is thoughtfully designed to support you in returning home with a deeper sense of ease, a renewed relationship with rest, and practices you can continue long after the retreat ends.
- Practical breath, meditation, and rest practices to support you beyond the retreat.
- A deeper understanding of what your nervous system needs to feel supported.
- Permission to slow down without guilt.
- More compassion for yourself and greater trust in your inner wisdom.
- Moments of stillness you'll carry with you long after you've returned home.
- A renewed connection with yourself and what truly nourishes you.
Because sometimes the most meaningful part of a retreat isn't what happens while you're there, it's what continues to quietly unfold after you return home.

Meet your Retreat Guide

Hi, I'm Veda.
I'm a Certified Yoga Therapist, breath therapist, sound healer, and the founder of BhaktiBreath. Over the years, I've come to believe that many of us have forgotten what true rest feels like. Through the integration of yoga, breath, mantra, sound, and gentle movement, my hope is to create experiences that help people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and remember that sense of ease they can carry back into everyday life.
Learning is one of my core values. I continue to deepen my understanding through advanced education, workshops, mentorship, and self-study because I believe there is always more to learn about the body, the breath, and the many ways we can support ourselves.
Whether I'm guiding a private Yoga Therapy session or leading a retreat, my intention is the same: to create a welcoming, trauma-informed space where you feel supported exactly as you are. It would be an honor to welcome you to the Blue Ridge Mountains and share this experience with you.
Meet your Retreat Assistant

I'll be supporting Veda throughout the retreat and helping create a welcoming, peaceful experience from the moment you arrive. Whether I'm assisting during sessions, helping behind the scenes, or simply offering a warm smile throughout the weekend, my hope is that you feel supported, cared for, and at ease.
Yoga has been an important part of my life for many years, and I continue to deepen my practice through ongoing study and personal exploration. I'm honored to be part of the BhaktiBreath Retreat and look forward to welcoming you to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
